3 Engineers

The Team started with a bang, got more Engineers in. But got stuck at a point where data needed to be extracted and this was not easy for a variety of reasons. A lot had to be done including liaising with other onshore team members to get the necessary permissions and set up the required infrastructure.

WonderBiz Launches a complex data analytics product, with full ownership, over a period of 3 years.

After a set of initial successes, the R&D team at Schneider Electric had envisioned a different type of product that would lead into Predictive Analytics for a plant depending on data coming in from various Control Systems. This was a very different concept and very risky to pull off for various technical and non-technical reasons. The Product Team at Schneider needed a complete Engineering team - someone who’d be able to own the product completely.


Expectations were high and the WonderBiz team was expected to decide the tech stack, perform Solutioning, do Project Management, extract rules required for the Knowledge base and even deploy. Was supposed to be a Navy Seal Unit that is skilled at everything. Again, this was supposed to be a strategically significant product with a lot of visibility right from the Top Management. And all of this using a very very resource scrapy approach that didn’t leave much room for wrigging!


The Team started with a bang, got more Engineers in. But got stuck at a point where data needed to be extracted and this was not easy for a variety of reasons. Work on this product is still underway after 3 years of effort with 3 Dev Engineers.


With much effort, the team was able to foray ahead and get to a stage where the product was in a demo-able stage for End-Customers. The Customer Demos were very successful and the Solution was well appreciated by the End-Customer and the Schneider Leadership team. That meant that this product was on it’s way to culminate into a yet another full-blown product offer from Schneider, supported by WonderBiz.
