Project Managers at Schneider Electric were struggling with delivery of a strategically important product. The current partnerships were not able to make things happen. Milestones were slipping away and quality was not upto the mark. Functionality was piled up and showed no signs of being under control. If some drastic steps would not have been taken, it would have been a lost cause. The product would not have seen the light of the day and it would have been a lost opportunity.


WonderBiz was invited to come in. Starting with their Principal Engineer, a crack team of 3 was set up. They came in and started to blast scope away. Focussing on the fundamentals, the WonderBiz team soon started to show the value of why they are considered the best in this area. The first version of the product was soon done and dusted, in over 2 years of contribution.


Then, it was decided to evolve the Product to the second generation for any meaningful industrial use. The ability to import and export in bulk and automate the many manual steps needed for configuration were just necessary to simplify & reduce the end-user efforts.


The WonderBiz Team worked in a fixed scope mode to drastically cut down on the manual steps. Prototypes needed for technology selection were achieved in lightning speed. Change in the scope was accommodated well. A decent amount of end-user data validation was achieved.

The Product Manager was able to achieve his goal of introducing automation to make the end-user's life simple. The team was able to deliver within the time constraints laid out.

What started out as being an out of control project, was being handed over to WonderBiz with full ownership.
