GE, a Fortune 10 Conglomerate then, had over 300,000 employees and operations in over 140 countries. But, back then, they still did not have the Systems & Technology backbone to enable their employees to develop their Leadership Qualities.
WonderBiz was engaged to develop a custom-built Enterprise Social App Portal that would let the Employees apply for Leadership Development Programs, earn badges, and get endorsements from seniors and peers. This Portal was developed over 4 months with 8 Dev Engineers using BackboneJS, Riak and Enterprise Java.
The GE Human Resources team now had a portal that they could use for Leadership Succession Planning.
